softpink-rose Here are 10 interesting links I’ve picked from my recent bookmarks:

    1. Sober-minded women: “My prayer is that we will have spines of steel, steadfast determination and the wisdom of God as we recognize and destroy Satan’s work at first sight. Are we not the keepers of our homes whom guard it from all evil?”

    2. America should consider bringing back passenger trains. I love traveling by train! Memories of Gypsies, peddlers, musicians playing their violins up and down the aisles – and 50 cent train tickets. And you get to rub shoulders with people you wouldn’t normally meet.

    3. Read a call to fasting and humiliation by President John Adams in 1798. We cannot live life our own merry way when our culture is collapsing into paganism all around us.

    4. I really liked this quote from Thomas Jefferson about the sum of good government.

    5. Christianity will not make you comfortable.

    6. If you’re going to have a senior moment – make it memorable.

    7. Check out The Science Mouse, a science ezine for kids written by a homeschooled fourth-grader. The top article right now has some pictures from the area where I live! The website and articles are exceptionally well done. This is a great resource for kids interested in science or nature!

    8. Multi-generational faithfulness in the family of Hudson Taylor.

    9. Fortunate to be women - a quote from Tasha Tudor.

    10. When we begin to wonder - we can make things begin to happen. An excellent post on keeping creativity in education.

You have the most interesting things to share! I just read the one about President John Adams call to humiliation fasting and prayer. Oh how our leadership has changed! Now I think I will say a prayer for our sitting President. Times are pretty scary, except that we have the Eternal Father of Mercies as our Source of Comfort and Peace. Thanks be to the Bestower of Every Good Gift! Amen!
